ECC Meeting Agenda

1) Introductions (2 minutes)

2) City-wide Summer Bicycling Event/Festival (10 minutes).
-- A City of New Haven representative will briefly discuss the event,
currently planned for July or August, and outline how ECC members can
get involved individually.

3) Subcommittee Activities

A. Incorporation Subcommittee (20 minutes)
-- Yale Law School Nonprofit Clinic will be attending to review
incorporation questions. There will be 10 minutes for Q&A, discussion,
and deciding on a schedule for the next steps.

B. Bike Plan Subcommittee + MTA/MNRR bikes-on-trains update (8 minutes):
-- Subcommittee progress on structure for bike plan implementation,
new downtown developments, Science Hill.
-- Bikes-on-trains lobbying effort.

C. Traffic Enforcement Subcommittee (5 minutes):
-- Accident reports, progress on NHPD bicycle liaison, press approaches.

D. Education Subcommittee (5 minutes)
-- Review of progress, ECC outreach/safety brochure draft, op-eds and
jamboree plans.

E. LAB Accreditation Initiative (2 minutes):
-- Review of progress on schedule, media and press release opportunity.

F. ECC Neighborhood Initiative (2 minutes):
-- Community Management Team outreach efforts.

4) Additional business/open discussion

A. CGA SB299 Lobbying Update and responses from elected officials (2 minutes)
