!!! WEDNESDAY NIGHT ICE CREAM RIDES !!!

Meet at the flagpole on the New Haven Green at 5:30pm; rides leave shortly thereafter. All rides are slow to moderate paced explorations, suitable for all experience levels, and ~2 hours (10-12 miles) round trip. Bring a few dollars for ice cream or other snacks. There are no organizers or sponsors, some area restaurants give generous discounts to cyclists.

Rides typically attract 30-50 cyclists, leave rain or shine and include:

Weaving along the shaded, tree-canopied Farmington Canal Rail-Trail to Wentworth's in Hamden.
Navigating waterfront routes to the Sandpiper Restaurant on Cosey Beach in East Haven.
Exploring cool routes to Ashley's and other ice cream haunts in New Haven.
Coasting the West Haven Boardwalk to Rita's Water Ice.
