League of American Bicyclists Respond to US Department of TransportationSecretary Peters of the U.S. Department of Transportation recently commented that 10-20% of the DOT's money is spent on "non-transportation" issues--she refers to bicycles.

The Devil's Gear Bike ShopThe Devil's Gear Bike Shop has become a local institution in the past seven years and a strong supporter of the New Haven cycling community. Owner Matt Feiner and his staff of talented and friendly mechanics were the 2006 and 2007 winners of the New Haven Advocate's "Best of New Haven" poll.
The Devil's Gear has opened a second store: The Devil's Gear II. It will function as an on-the-spot Repair Station and as a convenient drop-off point for bikes needing more complex work to be shuttled to the Chapel Street location.
